Anything equal to or alost just as good as the 560 TI, but less?

I bought an nVidia Geforce 560 TI when it was brand new and spent $349. The generous store is letting me bring it back for an exchange or cash, but I don't know which card to replace it is.

The card I had before this was a GeForce 470, so I don't wanna go back to something like that; I'd probably settle for a standard GTX 460 if I can still find them anywhere for under $140. Anyone other cards out there in the $100-$200 range that might be able to complete with the 560 TI

I thought the 560 and an overclocked 460 perform almost the same (and why anandtech left the 460FTW out of the 560 review)

That's exactly what I thought. I had a PNY 460 for a few months last year and it seems like I can't tell a different between those two cards after overclocked (which they do almost all the time).

I had a 6870 and it was awful, it went back the next day.

These are my specs:

Raidmax 630-z
Gigabyte GA-Z58A-UD3H-B3
intel core i5 2500k 4.5GHz
8GB Patriot Viper II (4-sticks)
Seagate 1TB Internal Hard Drive
17" Gateway monitor, 1280x1024@75Hz

So I'm pretty limited there by my screen size and resolution, that's one thing to take in mind. It was actually that 6870 that opted me to never go back to AMD again, ever.

Wow, that's definitely not a bad monitor.

What I wouldn't mind doing is getting a GTX 460 and overclocking it to hell.

Getting a decent monitor (along the lines of this one).

Still have some cash left over to buy a $25 or $30 heatsink because with the stock heatsink on the sandy bridge, sometimes I see the temperatures get into the 70s and I don't particular like that.

Yeah, um.... even a gtx 460 768 would enable you to run extreme settings + AA in anything at that low of a res.

+1 for "return gtx 560 ti for cash and buy 460 1gb + new monitor"
