Anything Better than Windows Sound Recorder?

I am trying to record from my sound card's line in Jack, but Sound Recorder only does 60 secs. Anyone know of something better?

ummm... theres TONS... dunno about free versions though...

pretty much anything from soundforge will blow your mind.

(sonic foundry, acid, soundforge etc etc)

Thanks.. but I am looking for a free version.. I don't do this very often and I can't justify the cost...
