Anything better than Skype for Web Video?

I've got a Creative webcam and have been using using Skype 2 to do Video Web chat, all seems to work pretty well, except for the image quality, is there anything better out there or this all dependant on the amount of compression and upload speeds?
 
I've found Skype to have the best quality but it seems to be a bigger resource hog than any of the other ones, I like using Yahoo Messenger. I've also heard good things about MSN.
