We just moved into our new home and it's mostly hard wood floors (our old place was carpeted) - one of our dogs is a bit old and has the occasional accident. We used a high powered steam extractor back when we had carpets and are thinking about ggetting a steam mop for those accidents - are there any better options? Would a wet/dry vac be better?

Any steam mop recommendations?
Thanks!

i have the shark steam mop from costco. feels flimsy, but works really well. i only use it on our kitchen and bathroom because its carpet everywhere else. steams up quickly and really does work. i used to use wet swiffers and bent two of the stupid sticks because you have to really scrub the kitchen stains. the steam does loosen everything up...

If by "pet accidents", you mean coming home drunk after a long night of energy drink + cheap vodka and body shots of tequila off a woman with an adam's apple, whipping it out, and mistaking the coffee table for a urinal........

Steam mop works fine.
