Anyone's iPhone just stop synching with iPhoto?

I'm thinking this might be a 10.5.8 thing (or even a 10.5.7 thing, or perhaps an iLife 09 thing) but my iPhone 3G just stopped synching with iPhoto on my Hackintosh. It still works with iTunes just fine, but it doesn't show up as a device in iPhoto, nor does it show up as a device in preview or anything else like that.

Anyone have anything like that happen to you?
 
Okay this is weird. Here's what's up so far:

1). iPhone used to sync with iPhoto (iPhoto 09 on my hack)
2). Doesn't anymore
3). Still works with iTunes
4). VM Ware and WinXP detect it when it's connected
5). Can't actually get pics off (says device is "busy")
6). Pounding head against wall.

Help?
 
So I spent about 15 minutes emailing all my photos to me, 5 at a time, then I deleted -- ahem -- some of the more "sensitive" ones, backed up my iPhone, restored it to factory, then restored the backup and it syncs again. At least it does so far. We'll see what happens when I re-install all my apps. Of course, now I have to go back through like 15 emails with 5 pics each save them, and somehow import them to iPhoto, even though they all have the same file name (photo1 through photo5).

Anyway, unless it's an app that's messing this up, it's working again, I think.
