Anyone's gmail's spam filter screwing up as of late?

In the past few weeks quite a few obvious spam messages have snuck into my inbox, while some emails that are not spam are being labeled so..

While there are still dozens of spam messages that are being marked correctly, I've missed quite a few emails due to them being marked incorrectly.

occasionally there will be periods where gmail seems to miss stuff.. but rarely have I had legit email mislabled as spam. I had that happen once I think w/ a real email, and maybe twice with ad spam I actually signed up for.

In the past month gmail has missed two spam emails and put them in my Inbox. That's relatively A LOT.

I had 9 free ipod offers today....very weird considering the usual effectiveness of my gmail.

I keep getting one type of 'stock pitch' almost everyday that seems to have been evading the gmail spam filter for the past 3 months.

yes a larger amount of spam mails have been making it through the filters than usual.

Actually, I've had a lot less spam make it through the filter and into my inbox recently.
