I'm thinking about getting a part time job outside of my 8:30-6 "real job". I want to get something in retail or where I have to interact with all sorts of people / customers because that may be an area for me to improve on. At the same time, I'd like to get rewarded with a nice employee discount and I'd love to own a nice set of Wusthof's or All Clads so I'm leaning towards Williams Sonoma (or maybe Bed, Bath, Beyond?). Otherwise I may try to wait tables, but not too sure about that.
Does anyone have experience working at Williams Sonoma and what was it like? Any idea on the discount and how long before you qualify? 😉
How did y'all like working retail overall? Was it learning (albeit painful) experience?
