Well my money status is getting very bad.

With 8 bucks in my checking account since March, Ive had to borrow money from my parents now for three months.

Well they are nice and get my gas, etc... but its hard living on $20 a week.

I'm 22 and in between schools (transfer in the fall) and I have been looking for a "computer" job since April with no luck.
Im also listed in a temp agency, but they have not found any work for me yet. Last week I went to the Dollar General store and didn't even get a job there. :Q :(

Im seriously about to go crazy not having any money. Anyway enough with my story...

What I was wondering is how is Lowes and Home Depot for a part time/full time (whatever I can get :) ) job? and How good is the pay?

Im trying to find a job quick, and Im hoping maybe one of these two places can hire me quick. ;) I know they are building a new Home Depot that should open very soon in my area.

Blayze, I've heard from friends that Home Depot/Lowes aren't that bad for P/T work, as long as you work the late/overnight shift, that way you don't have to deal w/ too many customers :)

I work for Home depot in the chicagoland area. To give you a rough idea of wages:

Lot attendant: Hiring starts @ 8-10 hr.
Cashier: Hiring starts @ 7-12 hr
Overnight stocking: starts @8-14 hr.
Inside non-specialty dept: hiring starts @ 7-12 hr.
Specialty deptartment: hiring starts @ 10-17 hr.

Average rate @ my home depot: 13.75 hr across all non-saliered employees.

The average above includes PT, but for reference deduct about 15% for PT.

84 Lumber is hiring.
Check the site. They seem to be hiring everywhere. Maybe there is one around you.

EDIT: I worked as an overnight stock boy for a toy store one summer. Restocked the shelves and played with the coolest toys. Minimum wage but I made it fun.
