Does anyone do patio decking?

I'm trying to figure out what my best cost effective option is with resurfacing my back patio deck. It's covered and right now the deck is refitted with new plywood. We're thinking sheet vinyl, fiberglass ... and anything else that comes to mind.

One option is something like Duradek but we'd like to possibly do it ourselves to save money. Another option is something like Ducan.

Anyone have any suggestions or opinions?

Thanks.

Bump.

Hmmmmnnnnn .... tough crowd.

We got tons of people here who have fiddled with water cooling and case mods and all that but no one has done any home improvements?!

We have to have some homeowners here. Or people that have helped their parents put up/set up a patio deck? Am I the only one?

Thanks for the suggestion.

We ended up going for the Ducan roll on vinyl decking since we installed a patio cover/roof. It looks great now. The roof and deck that is. If I ever get a digicam i'd consider posting it! 🙂

We used Suntuf polycarb corrugated panelling which looks great.

and cedar railings. All in all it wasn't too expensive or too cheap. A good summer project.
