just curiors. I work as a software engineer. but today i am installing my new softswitch code and have to do it at 2am. sure feels odd to work at this hour 😉. i think i'll go after lunch tommorow to work 😛
 
I did 7pm-7am 24x7 for 5 months. No overtime since I was salary but for every 8hrs past 40/wk I was paid a flat rate premium. Will never do it again.

Why? You'll end up sleeping most of the day, and it's hard as hell for most to adjust to eating so late/early and sleeping so early (sun will be out.)

Not how I want to live.

I'm already adjusted to nights. I normally wake up at 3 am, and go to sleep ~10 pm. It's actually harder for me to stay awake during the day than it is nights.
 
12am-8am 5 days a week for around 6 years. Wouldn't say I love it but I don't mind it. Other then being by myself 90% of the time it doesn't really bother me and most of the time thats actually a plus. I don't have a problem sleeping during the day and my schedule isn't that off from everybody else. I just work while everybody else is sleeping and sleep while everybody else is working. Evening still the same and I get to sleep in everyday 🙂. Never having to get up to an alarm is nice.
 
2pm-11pm Monday-Wednesday.
7pm-11pm Fridays ONLY (high school football season only)
9pm-11pm SATURDAYS only (during college football season)
4pm-11pm Sundays (and saturdays during football's offseason)

Get paid for 50 hours per week.

I work at a local ABC station.

Yeh, just logged in from vpn, upgrade the switch, just install rpm for the new softswitch and find out the feature I implemented works. well doesnt look like it does today, thanks to another frickin Lucent switch we have

Messed up schedules i have had
5 am - 8 am M-F, but got paid for 8 hours
6 pm - 6 am x 15 days a month
3 pm - 11 pm x 15 days a month
5 pm - 12 am M-F

and a few other screwy schedules...
