Anyone work out a NYSC?

bigrash

is it worth it?

I'm tired of working out at the regular gym. I want something with more option (like swimming, boxing, etc).

sounds cool. I wanted to join them, but I only get a corporate discount at nysc

Compared to a local gym... NYSC definitely WAY overpriced. Heck, Crunch was cheaper!

A lot of local (read non-chain) gyms in my area have just as much, if not more stuff for less money... so definitely no, esp if you already know how to train.

EDIT: NYSC told me that "we're not the same kind of club"... yeah, you guys won't give me a discount and want to rip me off for more and provide less workout equipment.

i was lucky that i had a workout room in my old apartment complex. unfortunately, i don't have that luxury now. that's why i want to buy an elliptical trainer.

HRC here. I don't think there's a better gym for the money. $100/month

Huge space with more than enough weights and machines that you'll never have to wait for, pool, hot tub, steam room, showers, lockers, massages etc.

Yeah, I wanted to go with HRC, but less locations and my gf gets a corp discount for the both of us at NYSC.
