Anyone work or has worked at Circuit City ?

Hey guys,
i had applied for circuit city yesterday, and got the call for interview today, i am going for the interview tomorrow, i had originally tried getting a job at best buy , that didnt work apparently. How is working at Circuit City compared to Best Buy in Pay,benefits etc.
How much does Circuit City usually start off with etc etc ?

its the only job ive gotten a call back for, so thats why im eager to get it....tell me why i shouldnt get it

your better off working at a super market. The pay will be similair, the chicks will be hotter, and the job will be easier.

i worked there for over a year... easy job, but be prepared to be hounded about selling warranty.... luckily i was good at it, but the pressure they put on the people who sucked wasn't fun...

I just enjoyed being around technology all day, and talking about it. For me, it was fun.

i couldnt get a job at a supermarket...thats the part that sucks...yeah most likely will be the lower paid replacement, i guess they start off at atleast $8 right ?

that sucks....where i worked, all the front end assistants slept with the cashiers. Unfortunately, when I became an assistant, I had a gf. I miss that job:p

that sucks....where i worked, all the front end assistents slepts with the cashiers. Unfortunately, when I became an assistant, I had a gf. I miss that job:p

hahaahah...so it was pretty much automatic if you were up there before you had a gf....lol

ehh i just need a decent okay job, im graduating from high school this year, need $$$ over summer, and to do stuff, i had a little business to fix comps, that doesnt even make any money anymore, so i want to just get a job, save up some for college, get a car, etc

If you arn't good at it, you should start looking for another job right away. Or apply for a department other then sales.

lucky you, applied and haven't heard a darn thing :(
I need a summer job.... bad. College + car = money, which I don't have right now.

Wow. I'm glad that never happened at the supermarket I worked at. Most of the people were pretty ugly (and/or also, or separately, under <17).
