Anyone work from home ?

My boss has been giving me crap and im starting get fed up and i thinking of finding something else, so i was wondering how manny people work from home and what do you do ? i dont have a familly to support and i only work part time so i dont need that much money.

I do have a certificate in computer programming and webpage design but i realized i hate programming but webdesign is ok.....

What about all those imfomercials that talk about working from home , do any of them really work ?
Anything anyone knows about ?Is there something you think it worth reading on ?


I know theres alot of smart people on this board so i figured I'd ask for some of your opinions.

I worked from home for about 4 years, and I still do when my clients don't require I be on-site. I haven't spent much time at home in the past year or so, but I still work from home quite a bit.

The problem with your certificate, etc. is that you need clients, and to get clients you need expertise. With expertise comes a solid network of people that know who you are, know your work, and it's that that gives you the opportunites to work from home. Without the foundation of solid work experience you're starting completely from scratch, and with no capital you're going to have some problems.

Do you have a marketable skill?
