I'm just wondering how good of a job it is working for the Geek Squad at BB. Do they pay well? Is it fun, or a stupid, frustrating environment?

Yeah, I know you must talk to noobs all day, but if the pay was decent it might be fun to just hang out and fix computers.

You mean they started you at sales, and moved you to Geek Squad? If you're in Geek Squad, do you have to learn that dance they do on the commercial? Also, how much did they pay? Hourly or salary? Is it a job you can do part time? And do you work in-store or do you just drive to people's houses and fix their comps?

Yeah, they started me in sales with a geek squad uniform first. Nope, no dance from the commercial. I got around $10/hr. I worked about 20 hours a week and only in store. You have to be a 'double agent' to drive around and fix comps at home, which require more knowledge and certs apparently.

But eventually you get to leave the office and go to customer's houses.
