Anyone work at Verizon?

I am looking for a part time job that pays well and has flexible hours. So far selling phones at Verizon looks enticing. I have around 4 years in sales experience so I don't think I will have a hard time getting the job. If any of you have worked for Verizon as a sales rep, please give me your opinion about the job.
 
Verizon doesn't hire part time very often. Good luck with that. They pay well though. Part time I'd check At&t or T-Mobile.

Theres a couple part time openings in my area so I should be good.

How much does Verizon Sales associates make on the average ?

Not sure the actual pay, it is part commission part hourly. The hourly I would imagine would be in excess of $10 an hour, but ti depends on the part of the country you are in etc...


I can tell you this, in order of pay of corporate cell phone providers it roughly goes like this:

Verizon
T-Mobile/AT&T
Alltel
Sprint

From my experience thats what I've seen at least.
 
Try looking over at howardforums.
Last time I looked over there, there is an employee sub-forum under the verizon wireless forum where you can ask about working there. It seems like that section gets a bit of traffic.
