I recently received 2 XBox games as gifts which I already owned. I don't have the receipt and was wondering if anyone knows if Gamestop will take these brand new games back and give me store credit for them.
I'm not looking to get cash back, just wondering if they will give me store credit for them if I don't have a receipt. I might be able to get the receipt still because the person who gave them to me may still have it, but they weren't sure if they did. It would be good to put the credit towards the xbox360 I already reserved to make the purchase in November cheaper
.
UPDATE: So I found out that they most likely will just give you store credit as if the game was used, even if it is still shrinkwrapped.
Now my question is, do they publish a list that each game is worth, or do you just have to go there and show them the game then they look it up and tell you how much you get for it?
