just wondering... if u were to buy parts... how much discount do u get? i need the cable that connects the head unit to the cd changer. my cousin works at honda, but i can't tell if he's giving me a straight answer or not. he says he gets parts for 20% off list. is that about right?
 
Does your cousin work in Marysville Ohio, or at a dealership? My dad works at Honda and the parts from the service center are more expensive than from Advanced or Autozone...

thats because they are OEM parts and are often made of a higher quality then the parts from autozone.

remember each dealership is owen independently. That said, a different discount may not applied for everybody.

Wow... this is classic... Your cousin is using his discount to get you some cash saved... and you're mad about the ammount of discount he's giving you?

If he wasn't there you'd get no discount. Shut up and be thankful that you got that much. If he chooses to keep a buck or two as his middleman fee, good for him. He's running the risk of getting fired for using his discount on something other than his own personal car (small chance, but it's still company policy and a fireable offence)
 
my friend works at a BMW dealership but I don't even know if he gets discounts since hes low man on the totem pole but he got to drive his boss's porsche turbo and yesterday a z8 alpina

who said i was gonna buy it with his discount? first of all, u dont even know the whole situation. i was inquiring to see if it was worth it to use his discount. if it wasn't, then i will look for aftermarket parts.

if i had posted "my cousin only got me a 20% discount... what an assh0le"... or "my cousin is making money off me by using his employee discount"... then i would agree with u. however, that is not the case. so right back at ya

Does anyone know if Honda sells the navigation system for the accord ex v6? I wanted to get it but the dealer didn't have it.
