I recently went from XP pro to this.

I don't recall losing connection so much prior to SP1, but I seem to notice it more after installing SP 2.

I can go for hours and suddenly I can't get a page. I look at the system tray icon and sometimes it will show nothing unusual, so I just disconnect and reconnect fine. Other times it will show local only and the only way to get reconnected is to log off or restart the computer. Unplugging the adapter and replugging hasn't worked.

I will add that it seems it is hanging up more often on restarting/turning off. I let it sit there with the Shutting Down message for 10 minutes then just use the warm restart button.
Before I uninstall the SP2 I will wait a bit and see if I get any answers.

I've had the opposite problem. My laptops when running the release of Vista sometimes had problems restoring the wireless connection after resuming from standby. SP1 reduced the frequency. SP2 all but eliminated it. I think it's happened 2 or 3 times since I installed SP2.

*EDIT* I should mention mine has NEVER dropped my wireless connection, only had an issue restoring it when resuming from standby.
