sup, I'm trying to launch the original half life 2... but when i try it say:

This game is currently unavailable...

Anyone else getting this popup error in half life 2...?

oh ep1 and 2 works fine...

Oh me me me I forgot how I solved it though, thank me for my contribution ^_^.

(Don't even consider this as me being right but I may have set Steam and HL2.exe to run on one core, this was on Vista x64.)

I just checked and my Half-Life 2 works fine. Have you tried to verify the game cache integrity? Or maybe try deleting the ClientRegistry.blob and restart Steam.

Is it up to date? If so run in offline mode as steam has decided it doesn't like your internet connection.

Tried restarting Steam? Or deleting ClientRegistry.blob in your main Steam directory?

deleting clientregistry.blob is my go to steam error fix move.
