I'm looking to buy this plextor drive and want to know if it works with XP. I currently have a Buslink USB drive and it sucks, majorly. Their tech support blows goats to boot. I have a KG7-Raid mobo (VIA chipset). Any input is appreciated, I've heard these are the best.

Since all my threads get moved, I'm pretty sure this is "general" hardware...I didn't see a CD-R forum 🙂
 
Plextor 16/10/40 -- excellent drive
80min cd's in under 5 min, compatible with XP on my Giga-byte 7zx VIA KT133 chipset.
 
Thanks everyone. I just want to be sure I'll be okay, because the buslink keeps making coasters. My experience with CD-R's is bad right off the bat.
