I'm in the process of ordering my new rig, and am buying the Antec P180. I'm wondering what fans you guys are using in it, I want to have some quiet LED fans. I want all of the spots for fans to be used for good airflow and cooling, any suggestions? And what are some good quiet LED fans? Thanks

Are you getting the P180 variant with the clear side? If not, why do you want LED Fans, since you won't see them?

I use only 2 case fans, both Nexus. One in the PSU chamber to cool off my passive PSU, and one for the rear exhaust. The other fan isn't plugged in, and I don't use an intake fan.

You can install a 120mm fan if that's what you mean. What I have in my p180...

1. Cooler Master uv fans replacing the back and top tri cool fans as I didn't like the idea of manuevering psu 4 pin cables to get power to the fans. The Cooler Master ones are just 3 pin fans and very quiet (and cheap).
2. Nexus fan for my cpu.
3. A tri-cool Antec fan at the front of the case (set to medium - quiet)

I went out of my way trying to silent my case (even got the asus sli premium so I wouldn't have to deal with a northbridge fan) without ever thinking that the vga fan would be a problem as well. Because of that, I decided to buy a panaflo 120mm to improve cpu cooling though it will be slightly more audible than the nexus.

I'm going to use a nexus in the back and top, do they fit in the bottom chamber too? For the PSU? if not I know alot of people using Panaflos down there.

i would check the kind of cooling you get with the tri-cool fans first (the ones that come with the case). if you lower it to medium settings, they will not be that audible and should provide sufficient cooling. Decide later if you want to replace them if you're not happy with your temps. I would have kept mine in if it wasn't for the fact that I preferred 3 pin connector fans.

I'm using 4 of these in mine, 1 top exhaust, 1 rear exhaust, 1 on my scythe ninja, then the last one mounted in the bottom chamber, at the front of the case sucking air in, then a panaflow m1 in the top at the other intake in front

I use 2 coolermaster 120mm fans..43cfm @21/22dba..very quiet and one tricoll set to medium as an intake..nothing in the lower chamber

I do want a better intake fan...looking for this..to better cool my hdd

the CM fans did not seem to push enough air in that location, and the antec is just a little better
