I would be very interested in hearing from those who have installed NetCell's Raid controller cards. I am more interested in your subjective responses as opposed to test results.
Financially the SyncRAID 3100 SATA controller would be the most interesting, by how was it's performance. Did it make a ho-hum level of change or a WOW level of change?
If, however, the SyncRAID PATA 5000 controller produced a humongous WOW factor, I would have to take that into consideration. So how did it compare with the 3000 and 3100 controllers?
And how did they compare with the motherboard standard PATA interface and SATA interfaces?
