I initially wanted the regular gaming edition as the color scheme and brand would have gone well with my MSI gaming Motherboard. However, it was out of stock and the golden edition was only 30$ more expensive and so I got that instead.

I just cannot find any reviews so far for the card. I know this card won't operate much different from the regular gaming edition, but I just wanted to see how much the copper heatsink and backplate helps.

Anyone here have this card? As I wait for the card I am just getting to restless I suppose lol.

I can't answer Q and haven't seen any reviews but what they did was raise the base clocks and boost 2 bins higher.
they also raised the fan speed on the gold one a few 100+ , so if you had both, for sure the gold one would run cooler .

You have to set fan speed to equal rpm to judge the HS and how better it is .

The memory chips might benefit from the back-plate if it's used as a sync.

They tend to o/c well or high in most Maxwells regardless, enjoy.

Thanks, any idea how to remove the power limit of GTX 970? Which I guess I cannot go over 110%?
