Is this a decent set of cookware? I was also looking the emerilware, but from what i understand it is not true tri-ply like the real all-clad...rather just the bottom has the AL/Copper disk.

From the reviews and newsgroups it looks like a love 'em or hate 'em deal...some people swear by them and others would just assume throw them out.

looking for some info from this crowd.

I have the 10" omlette pan from that set, works fine for me.

The best cookware I have is from hotel/restaurant supply stores. I really only buy kitchen stuff from thoes places now, find one in your area, you won't be disappointed.

i'm assuming this is better than the teflon crap one could by at walmart or target for 40.00? I'm not much on cookware, but I know its time to replace ours...and at 125 shipped i thought this might do the trick. I'm more of a grillbeerguy :)

We have the Anonized One and it's great stuff. I hate using it though, because it was so expensive.

I have a couple of Calphalon pieces and l think they are fine. For $125 you couldn't get a better set.

I actually got mine a couple of years ago from a Jokersmoker post in Hot Deals.
