I lost a bunch of downloads and need to download them again, except I have a rather unreliable 28Kbps dial-up that tops out at a "blazing" 2.5KB/sec. It took me weeks to download this stuff and I'm not looking forward to that again, besides the fact I had to move back in with my parents and they don't appreciate me tying up the phone line for hours at a time.
These are all 100% legal public downloads such as patches, service packs, program updates, like DirectX 8.1, Windows Media Player, Office 2000 Service Pack, some drivers, and a bunch of other stuff. There is probably 200MB+ I need to download again.
If I provide someone with the list of URLs, could you download this stuff for me, burn it to CD-R and send it to me? I am willing to send you $10.00 for the CD-R and postage.
