Anyone with any BeOS or QNX experience?

Well the newest MaximumPC had an article about alternative operating systems (notice i didn't say OS because that is a nickname and nicknames are for friends and my operating system is no friend of mine) and it got me interested in trying out a few. I do a lot of video editing stuff so BeOS looks pretty sweet but I have yet to find any good websites with useful information from actual users. I would like to hear from any of you who have used these operating systems for such reasons... I am basically illiterate when it comes to anything like linux, i dont want to spend my days maintaining my computer, i would like to use some software (yes I know about windows). Oh, one last note, yes I do subscribe to MaximumPC and actually really enjoy reading it!

my friend has his computer here and we installed beos5pro on his computer few days ago, and veeeerry nice, this is what I will use instead of winxp. Another friend of mine has his computer here to now and he is going to install beos to.

anand this a review on BeOS in 1998 do a search for it, also search the OS forum, this has been asked tons of times. ive used it and liked it, reminded me of the good old apple days.



as for qnx, beats me with a spiked bat, i have no idea what that is.

I have BeOS installed and love using it.. Just make sure ya get the opera browser for it..
