Anyone with an Optio S/S4 + Altoids Tin?

I'm planning on using an altoids tin for my optio, but it seems the rims would scratch the corners of my optio. Anyone figure out a way to cushion the tin, but still be able to fit the camera?

I use an Altoids tin with my S4 with no padding and I don't have any scratches. I keep the lanyard attached and pass it under the lip of the tin. When you close the tin, the lanyard keeps the camera in place so it doesn't rattle around in there. Give it a try, it works great.

I've heard some people glue some thin velvet-like material (get it from a fabric store) to the inside to prevent any scratches.
