Anyone with an astignatism here?

How does it affect you? Do you wear toric lenses or do you wear glasses with lenses that help your vision?

 

I don't have astignatism, but I do have astigmatism. I wear toric contact lenses. It sucks 'cause they're usually twice as expensive as my sister's non-toric ones. What would happen if I wore non-toric lenses. Would everything just be blurry, or would it actually harm my eyes?

Well I still have my astigmatism even after lasik. Its very annoying. Imagine one eye fighting for superiority over the other as to what is the correct image. Sometimes its strong, other times its not.
