anyone with abit kt7a-raid w/ geforce 2 gts

I'm trying to figure out how many people are running this combination successfully. If you are running on a kt7a series motherboard with a geforce2 gts (non-ultra) card, please post the manufacturer of your geforce.

I have a visionTek gts and cannot get it to output any signal to the monitor on bootup. I know others are having the same problems with hercules and creative labs. Are there any geforce gts cards out there that seem to be working solidly on the kt7a boards?

Retail Creative GTS 32MB here. No problems whatsoever. No signal? I'd check again your AGP seating and CPU/RAM seating carefully and make sure they are aligned properly and seated ALL the way.

I have a friend with a GForce 2 that crashes OFTEN when benching the system or playing games.... It turned out to be a problem with the $X AGP support being enabled in the BIOS. Try clearing the CMOS and disabling the $X support.....

ALSO, might be obvious, but make sure that INIT FIRST DISPLAY is set to AGP......

Will your CPU run at 133FSB using a lower multiplyer?
I'm gonna get a Duron 700 - not sure if it will run at 7.5 x 133 though......
I'm sure it will be fine at 7 x 133 = 933 - it posts at 1050Mhz (10.5 x 100)
If you are not sure - any chance you could try to use a lower multiplyer with 133FSB?
I'm 99% certain I'll get the ABIT 133A u c

Update: I've replaced the visionTek Geforce2 GTS card with an Elsa Gladiac Geforce2 GTS card and that works fine. I put the visionTek back in just to be sure, and once again the machine wouldn't post (no video signal). Put back in the Gladiac, everything works fine.

So apparently, Abit KT7A-Raid and visionTek Geforce2 GTS are NOT compatible. I do have a 300w athlon approved power supply, but I'd be curious to see if a stronger Enermax would of made a difference with the visionTek...

KT7 raid with a Hercules GF2 GTS and it's sweet.
I get numbers close to the ultra with my 32 meg card
I beleive I got one of the first made and they put better ram on it.

I know this might seem a bit off thread.. but i am running a kt7a with an aopen gf2 gts.. running a t-bird 750 at `1005 (134X7.5) ROCK SOLID STABLE in everything but q3.. in q3, about 3 minutes into playing, it will generate an error and boot me back to windows.. anyone know what this could be?? i know about setting the driving force on the video card to DA or EA in the bios, and have done so.. it still isnt working right.. hmm.. maybe its just the proc?? i know it runs q3 with NO problems at 7.5X100 = 750..

I'm running a kt7-raid with the hercules gfroce ultra. When I boot up, everything goes fine, but if I push the reset button or shut off and turn back on the computer (without turning off the power supply) I get no post. Any ideas how to fix it? Also when I DO boot up the screen iss way off to one side!!!

it looks like a better power supply may fix this issue. One guy was having problems posting with a hercules geforce2 pro... He upgraded to a 450watt power supply and hasn't had the problem since...

I've got the same combo with a differant problem. Mine will do the same thing 25% of the time (when it does hang at boot reseting it usally comes back on no problem) if you find a way around it let me know.
