Anyone with a Zenfone 2 get Android 5.1.1 yet?

My phone has system updated twice. But it still shows android 5.0

Yeah. Those are firmware updates. I've gotten those also.

I just got off the phone with Asus TS and the rep I spoke with had no clue as to when the 5.1.1 update will come out. Sucks.

They will likely just go straight to 6.0 at this point

Or they won't get updated at all.

ASUS has no track record, so anyone hoping for updates was taking a big-ish gamble.

It's why I never hopped on their bandwagon, even though the hardware and price are still compelling.

Their tablets are certainly a mixed bag on updates.
