Hi,

is there someone who has a Lian Li V2110, the reviews are fine but i was wondering if someone with a real life experience would recommend it, especially in terms of silence/sound damping and temps

Well they are not know for sound dampening. Thay are all aluminum cases so vibration noise is common. They also don't integrate any sound dampening mounts into the case. Not like the P series from Antec does. Those cases are designed to be quiet. Most cases don't take that into much consideration leaving it up to you to integrate those features yourself.

Ignore me, I'm dumb. I didn't realize they completely changed everything for the Vxx10 series.

Looks to be a VERY good case for silence, even more so than a lot of LL prior attempts at "silent" chassis.

Yeah, I was gonna say! "Um...dude?"

It's supposed to be a silent case. I believe Anandtech reviewed this, and there are other reviews out there online. As far as first-hand experience goes, I have none. I'm also curious how WC setups work in rigs like this.

Looks like the top panel is prime real-estate for a 3x120mm rad :)

True, and you could probably stick one of those PA160s on the inside, too.

However, I don't think there's any alternative cover they sell for this series, unlike others, for top-mounting a rad on the inside. This would have to be an external job. Even then, there's two holes for something up top, but I think they're just optional holes to run piping through. You might have to drill to mount the rad. Yeesh.

Looks great - I've owned three Lian-Lis now doubt I'll buy another brand of case any time in the near future. I just built a budget machine for work and the Lian-Li case was about 1/3 of the total price... just couldn't go back!

Why not just cut the top to fit a 3x120 with a radgrill? If you aren't comfortable doing it yourself, just spend an extra $69 dollars @ performance-pcs for the case and have them do it for you.
