Anyone with a TI4600 noticed this?

My VisionTek GF4 TI4600 cards are overclocking better with the 27.51 drivers (320/355) than with the 27.42 drivers (315/345). The higher overclocks hold true in both 3dMark and games. I am running tests on the 27.70 drivers right now. I have noticed most of my games seem smoother with the 27.51 drivers but the colors seem better with the 27.42. OF course my eyes are getting old. ;)

I think the correct question should be: Anyone with a TI4600?

It's not even out yet. Criminy! :|

Well, they are available in Houston, TX...... :)

update- The 27.51 drivers have worked best, the 27.70 drivers have some issues on my systems. I have one card clocked at 330/355 now without an issue after several loops of 3dMark2001.

I want to see how long these things last overclocked - that memory is hotter than a pistol.

Also, which bank were you able to rob?

Rooster286,

No banks were robbed although I almost had to marry the loan officer. Actually I am a PC Nut and gave up my car addiction (almost) for this hobby. It also does not hurt to work for a major computer company located in Houston. ;)

Bingo13 with all that computing power just waiting to be harnessed, I hope you run a distributed computing client. May I recommend ECCP?

Saltboy,

Some of the local EB/Best Buy stores had them yesterday in stock. I did not see any at Fry's last night although they said to look for them today. CompUsa might have some on Monday along with the PNY cards. :)

update- I have three of my cards all at 330/355 (710) now with the 27.51 drivers. The 27.50 drivers seem to work well also but I cannot get any decent scores with the 27.70 or 27.42 drivers on my XP333R board. All of the Intel systems run fine with all drivers but the 27.70.

Dammit I hope Circuit City stocks GeForce4 Ti's... I got over $280 worth of basically free store credit there and they have the most craptacular selection of computer products of any major electronic department store.
