I've just bought a dreamcast off ebay, as well as a dreamcast to vga cable so I can play it at higher res on my monitor.

What I need to know, is what will happen to the sound should I set my dreamcast up like this? (It hasn't arrived yet, so I can't look for myself). When you plug a dreamcast in to a TV normally, the sound comes out through the TV - but obviously this won't happen on a VGA monitor.

I need someone who has a dreamcast to have a look at the back and see if there is any kind of audio output that I could use to plug in some speakers or something.

Dreamcasts have standard RCA jacks.. you can plug them into anything you like.. TVs, stereos, speakers with RCA jacks, etc.

Yellow for video, red and white for audio.

There will be a sound output on the VGA box. You'll have to hook it up to a set of computer speakers or use a Mini-Din to RCA adapter to connect the audio to the TV's input jacks.
