Post the following:

Last four digits of SSN
Age
Social status of family (lower, working, middle, upper)
Pro-choice/Pro-life
Occupation or intended occupation

If for some reason you're not comfortable answering one or more, just leave it blank, I can always make up data. :)

edit: If you're uncomfortable with SSN thing, just make something up. It's not like I'll know the difference.

edit2: I have all the info I need, if you want to post some more, go ahead. I don't know if anything interesting is going to turn up or not.

Maybe you should explain a bit more as to why I should volunteer this info.

What explanation is needed beyond that it is for a homework assignment?

edit: On our exam tomorrow, we have a take home portion that tests our knowledge of this statistics software. The data is going to be entered in and whatever the test asks for, I'm supposed to do to the data. Nothing special, just averages, measures of dispersion, crap like that.

Most AT members have 1337 computers and broadband. I woudln't say they have to be filthy rich, but to be poor or near poverty I doubt.

What exactly is Upper Lower Middle Class? I have heard of Upper, Upper Middle, Middle, Lower Middle, Lower but never Upper Lower Middle Class. Wouldn't that be just middle class?

/me runs away confused.

Spoooon, you have obviously never taken a stats class or learned how to conduct a survey with personal information. The whole entire purpose, who will use the information, and why is to be made fully known before asking people to take part.

Good lord man, this is not a serious survey where the data is to be used in any way other than to manipulate with SPSS. It's not being published or made public in any way other than being handed in as part of my exam. If someone is uncomfortable with providing all the info, they can leave it blank or make something up. MIB will not be tracking anyone down using this information. ;)

Note the first post of the thread where I say that if you are uncomfortable posting any info, just leave it blank and the title where it says that it is for a soc. assignment and one of my posts and the 5th or so post down where it explains what the data is being used for. ;)
