Anyone who works out tried the supplement NO2?

StageLeft

No Lifer
GNC is selling this book for $1 - a book written by the guy that created this supplement - he is the same guy who introduced creatine to the world as a supplement back in 93 and NO2 is his new thing. It's been out a little less than a year and according to the book it is quite powerful. He claims it's better than creatine and I suppose if you'll believe anybody it should be him.

Before anybody even starts please no "supplements suck just stick to regular food" posts. *groan* 🙂

I'm one of the believers in NO2 actually. Like you said, it's quite new, so there's some controversy on it... mainly does it work or not. But i'm sure i feel a definite improvement in being 'pump' during a workout. Literally feel like my muscles are going to rip open... GREAT feeling. But like i said, some people claim it doesn't work for them, but enough said it did for them for me to at least try it... and i liked it.

How long did you do it for and did you notice a significant strength increase? Did that strength stay after stopping the NO2? Have you tried creatine?

Yes, i tried creatine years ago. Worked great. Good strength increase, and a noticeable difference in size (but it's mostly water retention), and recovery between sets were better too. But i'm not working out for size anymore, so stopped creatine.

As for NO2, i definitely notice an increase in strength. I don't know if it was partly psychological because of the extra pump, or really because of it... but man, the pump. Even when you're done for the day you feel like your muscles are going to rip out of your body. It's an awesome feeling. And it only costs $50/mo supply, so cheap enough for me to use even if i don't have any real gains except for perceived pump (motivates me to workout).

Oh hey, i forgot a good side-effects from this. It helps prolong erection, even after ejaculation.

hahaha viagra rebadged 😀

Actually, that's not too far off. From what i remember reading, the process is almost identitical.

Damn! I love that stuff, I used to get big ballons full of it at the Greatfull Dead shows and walk around like I had big Micky Mouse ears....:::sigh:::: good times, about time the health benefits of Nitrous Oxide got recognized.

$50/month? - no way i'm spending that much on any supplement, and no, i haven't tried NO2, whatever that is.

Well if it works well $50/month isn't retarded if it works several times faster than regular weights...obviously staying on it long term would be cost prohibitive.

Lost my interest right there.

I liked creatine cause it worked well and it was dirt cheap. $50 a month is retarded.

That's $50/mo Canadian. What's that US? 30? Anyways, i'm sure it'll get cheaper once more companies start offering it as well.

Creatine has nothing on this.
