Anyone wear Birkenstock closed toed shoes?

Anybody wear something like this? Are they warm enough in the winter? Comfortable enough to wear everyday? Durable?

I tried them on. They have very low cut toe boxes so my toes were getting squished even though the length and width were okay.

pfft, wore open toed birks my entire senior year of HS. this was in WI. only wore wool socks like 2 or 3 days.

Birkies don't fit my flintstone feet properly. They're either too long, or not wide enough, or too dammed short.

I LOVE my Haflingers...but I've worn this pair out in less than 8 months. Time to find something better. Boiled wool just doesn't hold up well.

My wife wears Birks very similar to those to work (hospital). FWIW I think they are absolutely hideous.
