restricter plate racing at its best!

this is the track that, in the first scheduled nascar race, all the main nascar drivers went on strike because the track was so dangerous. so nascar hired a bunch of scabs and ran the race anyway.

just stopped the GP after the best jaguar ever crashed losing 3 corners of his car, then another car came roaring through, hit debris, and lost 2 corners of his car.

Nothing like watching a bunch of necks drive in a circle and kill themselves. Great TV!

Nothing like coming to the board and seeing another assinine post by someone who can't let things lie. If you don't like NASCAR, you can just move along and not open the thread. Jerk.

Exhilarating.

No way! All left turns? Wow cool!

After all the left turns and all the death someone will come away with the Winston (cancer stick) cup.

I really hate watching these super speedway races. This crap happens way to often and it always seems the few drivers I still like are always caught up in them. Instead of taking races away from some of the shorter tracks they should take them away from the damn boring super speedways.

You really don't know what you're talking about do you?
Just making fun of NASCAR because there are people with Southern accents involved, aren't you?

So many thread crappers. Yes we know not everyone likes Nascar. If you don't, shut the hell up and leave his thread alone.

BTW...I hated Nascar until 2001. I went to Richard Petty's Driving Experience to take a friend there----he did some work for me while I was out for a month, and I bought him a 40 Lap Pass. When I was at lowe's speedway, and I saw the cars up in front of me....and saw them drive from the pit stalls, it was pretty cool. It helped that I got to see Little E there (he was filming w/ MTV taking his posse in the car with him)......

I'm not a big Nascar fan, but I watched a bit of the race today, hoping Junior would win. I've always rooted for him after his father died, simply because when I saw him at Lowe's at the Richard Pety thing, I remembered thinking what a lucky SOB....and spoiled rich kid. After his father died, I was impressed with him,a nd have cheered for him ever since.

Although, it'll be a cold day in hell before I ever go to another race. Went to one, and the fans drinking like hell and cheering for the wrecks are the stuff I can live without.

But anyway......good race. Glad Jr. Won. Least Nascar made the right call.
