Yup, this is quite an incredible match-up guaranteed nowadays.

Coming from a Laker fan, I LOVE watching games like these. The fast-paced action brings to mind the Lakers of some years ago, when they were quite the mediocre team (Teagle, Threatt, Bowie, aging Scott, Worthy, etc.) but still had a knack to bring it up and down the court quick and make for some good entertainment (win/loss be damned). Not that I don't like the rings and trophies this awesome Laker squad has been able to corral... but I prefer the excitement previous Laker teams produced game in, game out, as opposed to the plodding just-give-it-in-to-Shaq-all-the-time-wait-and-pound-it-in game they play today. Plus, it's tough getting used to the idea of Chick never being on the radio/TV again...

OT again, these 2 teams in the Western Conference Finals would be AMAZING. Dallas finally won one and it was in sacramento. who woulda thunk it.

Great game, Mavs kept from getting swept this season. Kind of weird - last season Mavs won 3/4 in the regular season but got owned in the playoffs. Kings won 3/4 in the regular season this season, wonder how the playoffs will turn out

i got to watch the game with all my buddies today. three of us are in the same fantasy basketball league and i have dirk, another has nash, and the third has finley. i definitely had lots to cheer about but man, all of us yelling at the tv and rooting for the mavs was great. if they meet in the playoffs, i'm definitely going to invite people over to watch.

go mavs and kings! down with the lakers!
