Nice fumble.

Well he is a redshirt freshmen, playing his first full game. Prior to today hes played maybe a total of 4 quarters worth of football. Shows a lot of promise for next year though. Must suck for McNeal, having to ride the bench(injury) your last college game.

No other rivalry game has been so lopsided as this though. Im sorry but 119 out of a 119. UT's preformance is unexcusible.

true, they should have beat them by ~13 points (i wouldnt have bet on the 27pt line)... but they came out with the win. was usc "exposed" when they eeked by arizona and asu?

Texas has weaknesses just as much as USC does. 😛

Uh? Id say UT has ALOT more than USC. By far. Pete Caroll it licking his chops, if UT makes it to the Rose, USC will blow them out.

If UT plays like that in the Rose Bowl they will lose. If they play their best they will blow out USC. So, why not just wait and watch the game instead of trying to make yourself feel better by boasting.

I dont know which is more gay.

The UT marching band, or the A&M marching band.

clearly it's the marching band of your school.

Haha, Im not an Aggie. I wont be an Aggie next year either. Though I do happen to live in College Station.

Anyone that watches the replays will see UT got ALOT of help from the refs. Kinda odd that the ref's were the same ones that gave Tech a win over OU last weekend. A&M was called alot on what should have been non calls. UT was never called on what should have been called. I expected A&M to get beaten like the horrible team they are. They are worse than Arizona, or ASU. There are teams that havent won a game, that have higher defensive ratings. They gave up over 500 yrds to TSU, a DII school, and almost 600 to Tech.

mwahaha texas scores again!

UT should have been dominating A&M from the first second. UT has NO shot at beating USC, hell they still gotta get through Colorado. Come on, they got no passing game vs the 119th ranked passing defense. Sad is an understatement.

Colorado crapped the bed against Nebraska today. Nebraska flat out laid a whooping to them.

I think it's Iowa State standing up for the Big 12 North. ISU doesn't stand a snowballs chance in South Texas of beating the Longhorns.

Yeah, that comment was well before the CU-Neb game. ISU will get slaughtered. Baylor beat them at ISU.

Texas has now played one bad game in which they had to outscore an inferior opponent. USC has 3 or 4 of those type games under their belt so far this year, and UCLA could be another one.

When USC plays like that, its their "will to win" and crap like that. When Texas does it (once) suddenly they are in position to be blown out. It doesn't make any sense.

he already has the heisman won. all the games where he played average or below average weren't hardly televised at all, nor were they noticed. vince played bad in the national spotlight late in the year. give reggie the heisman now and get it over with.

arizona lost to utah, purdue, cal, stanford, usc, and washington. i seriously doubt you can see those teams are any better than clemson, colorado, iowa st, texas tech, or oklahoma. in fact, most of those teams have winning records, whereas most of the teams arizona lost to do not. arizona state lost to stanford as well.

i find it laughable at best to say a&m is worse based on statistical records. they aren't good by a long shot, but today's game was their national championship, as it is every year, and they came out and played the best they could just like they do season after season. not to mention 99% of the players on the field today have played with/against each other numerous times throughout high school and college, and would know each other better than any other team in the country.

Yeah and Arizona didnt nearly lose to a DI-AA school or Baylor. Anyone that watched the TSU or Baylor game knows those teams both should have beaten A&M. A&M got lucky in both games. A&M was a horrible football team this year.

digitalsm, what do you have against UT?

Poor performance by the 'Horns today, for sure, but these things happen, especially away against an opponent that hates you and has nothing to lose. It's probably hard to stay focused on an inferior opponent when everyone is saying that you'll destroy them and you should cakewalk into the Rose Bowl. Hopefully this was just the wakeup call that the 'Horns needed.

Anyway, if (we've all forgotten: you can't put anything in the bank in college football) the 'Horns get past Iowa State in the Big 12 CCG, we should have a great Rose Bowl. I expect it to be a real shootout. UT's run defense has really been exposed the past few weeks and Bush and White could really gash us if we don't get it together.

you mean all those holds on the outside by texas a&m and that missed pass interference call when the ball bounced off of the corner's arm and into the hands of the other aggie?

usc gets props for what they've done the last several seasons. it's the reason they're number 1 in the people polls. you've hit the nail on the head. if you watched ONLY this season, and not the last 2, you'd see USC stumbling around squeaking by what should be tremendously overmatched oppponents time and again. any rational person would see that, and see how texas has basically manhandled everyone but ohio state (which is a pretty damn good team) and tamu, and probably put texas above USC. but that isn't how it works.

Texas will have to prove it at the Rose Bowl as long as both teams run the table.

arizona: 3-8
texas a&m: 5-6

arizona lost to a 2-9 washington. texas state is 9-2 and is one of the very best team in AA... tell you what, i'll put money on them against the uw huskies all day everyday. as far as baylor is concerned, they beat iowa state, and came close with oklahoma. as far as baylor is concerned, they can give the rest of the pac 10 a fright any week.

am i saying that texas is far better than usc, or visa-versa? no, but its completely blasphemous to say that texas was 'exposed' for not blasting a&m out of the water... as if usc has never been tested this season (or last season, for that matter)

if you want to talk about the NC, wait until the NC...until then youre just spewing 1-sided fumes
