I realized that managers at retail establishments generally fall into one of two categories:

1) Really, really dumb
2) Smart, too smart for the job they are in. These people either quickly move on (or up) or stay there because they are damn good at what they do and their boss actually appreciates them.

At Circuit City (and probably most other chain retail giants) the managers get shifted from store to store (and position to position) like none other until they hit store manager, even then they are always moving. They have to be sharp to get to store manager, and the three I've worked under have been decent people, but I think they all actually want an office at corporate. At least thats the impression I get.

i think it was a long segment.. only watched a snippet. pretty girl... real sweet too... sorta like the 'only kissed one guy' kinda girl.

and that i think is sadly the thing, it couldn't have gone as far as it did to anyone else but someone like her...

i couldn't see this happen to a 'urban' girl that curses every other minute... no way...


since i chose not to watch the whole segment, did those who did the prank on her know who she (the victim) was before calling the McDonalds?

now those involved in this 'prank' could spend time in the bighouse... i think they'll get a 'prank' in the middle of the night.
