general impressions?

I meant to tivo it, but I forgot and got home from work 20 minutes into it... worth watching on hulu or torrenting?

It was a nice start, but it looks like it's going to degrade into a soap opera pretty quickly.

A soap opera with tanks and Stinger missiles.... (shrug).

I had never even heard of this.

If y'all think it looks pretty good I might have to go and watch the first episode sometime this week.

Totally forgot about this but I'm a big fan of Ian McShane (Al Swearengen!). Maybe the episodes will be on hulu or something.

I'm always expecting him to blurt out a "beautiful being" or 2.

I'm watching it now on DVR.

They filmed many of the scenes 3 blocks from where I grew up in NYC!

The King's mansion is on 79th St and Broadway.

finally got around to watching it yesterday on Hulu... f'ing loved it.

can't wait for tonight's ep.

I *gasp* canceled The Simpsons on my dvr so I could record it.

I was really expecting to not like David because the prince is gay and, you know, solidarity yo, but his character managed to win me over.

hopefully it stays on the air, it doesn't seem like it could be *that* expensive to film since it's mostly just character drama.
