I watch the show. IMO it's OK but nothing special - it seems like HBO's Weeds in many respects.
I find the casting of the kids just bizarre. I know it's meant to be a plot point that both parents seem uncomfortable with them, but there's just no way in hell that Thomas Jane and Anne Heche would have kids THAT awkward and weird-looking.

decent, but they need to scrap the whole ex-wife's family story. it seems every time they come on-screen or discuss wanting to have a baby the show comes to a screeching halt. and tanya needs to consult with that pimp more often. some of the best dialog from the show comes from their interactions.
i think its very nciely done ... one of the few shows that the direction is superb in catching finer nuances of life ... also very inspirational ... 
I liked season 1, and season 2 has been okay.. But that last episode was terrible. Did anything even happen pertinent to the story of the show?

You mean the pimp? Yeah, I'm really starting to hate her character. Nothing I hate more than someone who doubts themselves on smallest of things. Next ep will be about how uncertain she is about how she should urinate in a public bathroom or something.
Why the fuck did they cast such an ugly actress for Tanya? She's actually painful to see on the screen. The kids are also so ugly as well to the point where its just annoying to watch them on the screen. Sounds dickish, and I don't mean to be, but seriously, they're really fucking ugly.

Shes actually not terrible looking when she looks nice. But anyhow..the show is decent.

Lol at all of you taking Tanya's annoying persona personally, as if "she" isn't a professional actress playing a carefully scripted role to perfection.
Honestly, guys, do you get personally morally outraged at whichever actor plays Hitler in WWll movies?
Genetically, the kids are a stretch. Doesn't much bother me, though. For once, the kids are duller and less attractive in a series than the adults. I like it for this entirely subversive reason alone.

I've never really understood Weeds though... I thought the point was to show the strength of the female lead, but all the show does is show how she barely manages to get out of yet another horrible situation (that she created, mind you).
