"Get off my lawn!"

You have, once again, revealed yourself as a complete ignoramus (as well as an ideologue and a troll). There is no "radical leftist agenda." Both parties are considerably more conservative today than they have been throughout most of our nation's history, and President Obama is a centrist Democrat. Even if this were not true (which it is), the Republicans control both houses of Congress. How does that fit into your "radical leftist agenda" theory?
OMG, you've labeled me! Now you've hurt my 'feelings'! Buwhahahha! I understand that it's important to you to feel superior. How's that ego doing? Looks like it's doing pretty well from here.

Here's something you may want to keep in mind. You don't get to set the agenda for what I say. Your narrative is not my narrative. The difference between us is that I am content to let you have yours. Your tolerance is waning. No surprise there.

However, that doesn't change what happened to Michael Brown nor does it make Officer Wilson guilty of any crime.

It doesn't change that particular instance. But (this goes for everyone), if you have a brain in your head, you can start to understand why the community reacted the way they did. To them, it was just another instance of institutional discrimination.

Your "narrative" is based on a vacuous and false premise (the "radical leftist agenda"). You have no "tolerance" for any perspective other than your own, and yours is completely wrongheaded and silly.

The problem with being an ideologue, which you are, is that everything you see is colored by your own partisan agenda.

Well I for one am so glad that you can see all sides of an issue and consistently come to the conclusion that your viewpoint is the only one that is correct. And twice so far in this thread too.

I know, I'm exasperating. Today for me is call it like I see it day. No filter to preclude hurt feeling, no pussyfootin' around. For anyone that doesn't want to read my posts you should know that you are not hurting my feelings. I respect your right to ignore me.

Choke on it. Gag on it.

It's time I laid it on the line. You're a head case who has a one track mind. But it's your cross to bear brother and only you can cast it aside - should you choose to. You have a choice on how you react make no mistake about that. You're real busy being a victim and in the process you're in a cycle that keeps repeating itself in an endless loop. Poor me, poor emperus, I've been wronged by the sins of dead white men. I'm being wronged by living white men. Only you can decide if that mindset suits you. Right now it obviously does. Is it going to work for you a decade from now, two decades from now, three?

What is the race of the leader of the free world? What race is Oprah? What is the race of these folks? http://blackbergtv.com/the-richest-black-people-u-s-in-2014/

I can guarantee you that these people did not get up every morning and while brushing their teeth fixated on the boot the white man had on their necks. They said fuck that, I'm going to be something, I'm going to make something of myself and they did. And there's a shit ton more that didn't make that list.

Hey, but whatever works for you is A-OK for me. I'm just tired of reading about how you're a damned victim. It's self-imposed muthafucka!

Yes suh.. Thank you suh. Me will try harder suh.. Me will work harder suh.. so I can be real real successful like you suh.. Bahahhaha

Thanks for affirming who you really are.

How is this an instance of institutional discrimination? Should Officer Wilson just accepted his ass whooping for the sake of racial sensitivity? How is burning down a shopping mall a reasonable reaction? How is looting and arson a proper way to protest your ethnicity being unfairly profiled by the police?

I guess you didn't bother listening to holders speech and I can guarantee you didn't read the DOJ's findings. Lucky for you, being ignorant means your bubble is intact!

You wear that stupidity like a badge of honor;)

He didn't say it was. He said that it appeared that way to the man on the street.

This is a local issue. Make it your own, no skin off my nose. Shout it to the rooftops, tweet about it until you're blue in the face. Get mad, get even. March in the streets. Set buildings on fire. Put a bumper sticker on your car. Cry yourself to sleep. Whatever floats your boat.

I'm not concerned with it. Because our nation is going broke. It's being taken over by a radical leftist agenda that seeks to change the very fabric of the nation. It's being taken over by people who don't care about the Police Dept. in Ferguson Missouri they only act like they care. But you do care and if that's important to you that's great. You can concentrate on the minutia and some of us will concentrate on the bigger picture. Here's a newsflash though, what you care about and what I care about each have no value to the people in power in this nation. They're looking out for themselves and if we're fighting amongst ourselves, that's the way they prefer it.

Translation: "I'm worried about white people problems. Yeah, I'm against big govt, that's why I stand up against govt oppression like pushing people to have healthcare coverage and regulations on banks which hurts my stock portfolio performance.

But a predatory local govt systematically abusing, extorting and potentially murdering it's population along racial lines, creating a toxic hellhole businesses and anyone with money flees from?

This is a big deal? Really?

Have you seen the latest inflation figures? Do you know what this is going to do to the price of the new iWatch?! The fascists must be stopped!"

I understand. I have no doubt when this happened the black community in Ferguson thought "not again!" It's clear from the DOJ's report that the Ferguson PD has a lot of racist elements and practices.

But once the available evidence was in and the witness testimonies had been scrutinized, they seem to support that in the case of Michael Brown there was no individual or institutional discrimination at play. It makes all the looting and property damage seem unnecessary and misguided.

I just wish more people could dispassionately look at the facts before jumping to conclusions, particularly those in positions of leadership who have the ability to sway so many minds.

As opposed to all those situations where looting and property damage seem entirely rational? What the police department has done to that community is criminal and no doubt served as a catalyst for the protests that erupted after Michael Brown's death, but looting is never an appropriate response to institutionalized abuse. You're just furthering the damage suffered by members of the community and not the people who have abused you.
