I swear to god, Brazil has the hottest female fans. :heart:
I guess if you were to compare them to US sports, they'd be the female courtside fans in Maverick and Heat games.

gg Croatia, the speed of their game in the 46th-75th minute was very impressive. If only they'd have better organisation in the finish.

Brasil was superior and merited the win but in my opinion, they can't win the Cup if they don't become better than they were this evening.
 
Ronaldo, what were you doing bud? You let me down. I was hoping the World Cup would get you motivated...
 
That was an excellent match. If it weren't for that one Kaka goal, we would all be talking about how Croatia owned Brazil today. They were simply too aggressive for Brazil...its a pity they couldn't get a shot inside the net. Incredible performance from the Croatian team, no doubt.

The Brazilian defense was seriously lame. And Ronaldo got his foot to the ball, what, 3 times in the match? Not impressive Ronaldo. Not impressive. However, Roberto Carlos' shot at the goal from, what, 45-feet away was stunning. Didn't go in but it was mighty close.

Clean up your act, Brazil. Nobody wants champions to be so full of themselves in the very first game.

i watched the US game with my brother yesterday, trying to get him into the sport. after america sucking it hard, i told him a really *good* game would be on today, with brazil playing.

i was way off.

The game was sloppy and not sexy at all.
 
Bucks, I beg to differ. Brazil is the 800-pound gorilla of the football world. Today, I just saw the Croatians give them a serious run for their money. If that one shot by Kaka hadn't gone in, we would be looking at a draw. The Croatians had several good shots at the target and their fans were with them right down to the final play. There was that element: the Croatians can still draw this - even as we were 1 minute into Stoppage time.

I know I was on the edge of my seat.
 
Ronaldo was dormant almost the whole first halft. He's actually heavier than normal because he's been recovering from an injury. Many thought that the trainer wouldn't let him play until he was back to his normal weight but apparently they felt confident in him.

I am not saying the game was something not to be on the edge about. I am just saying the play was real sloppy.
