I don't get the whole redneck / blue collar / white trash humor thing. Furthermore, I do not find Jeff Foxworthy funny, and really hate his "you know you're a redneck if..." jokes.

It's so funny man............... you just have to see it to believe it I can't describe it in words but they are nothing like Jeff Foxworthy's comedy.

I was in Toronto, so I knew about it. I tried watching one episode, but turned it off after 5 minutes. Not my kind of humor, I guess.

It is, however, extremely popular up there.

I borrowed the 1st season DVDs from a friend and watched about 5 or 6 episodes. It is really great! I love Bubbles - well, all the characters are good. The episode where Bubbles tries to make the porno is HILARIOUS... when that Jonovision guy's parents get back to the trailer and Bubbles says, "...that's a fvckin prick job!"... ahhaha! I'd buy the DVDs and watch them in sequence. We don't get cable yet in our subdivision so I can't watch the new ones!!

No, it's more popular in the US than here in Canada, even though it's produced in Canada.

I have to admit I didn't like the first episode or two that I saw. It takes a few. But I really like the show now. Still don't watch it much, but it's gold. I loved the one where they had Rita MacNeil picking their pot crop for them

It's on showcase in Canada.
In the US i think it's on BBC-america? - but it's a few seasons behind, the beep the swears, and i think they cancelled it this season?

I can't imagine watching it with the swears censored. must be difficult to understand wtf is going on.

I love the trailer park boys!

J-Roc and Mr Lahey are probably my favorite characters along with bubbles of course. I've only watched the first three seasons so need to get the others.
