Man, I love this series. I set my DVR to record them all in fact. The history of these great bike manufacturers like Ducati, Suzuki, Honda, and MV Agusta...oh, and that company that paints their bikes some ugly green color too. :p

The programs are an hour long and cover the early history of the company (most of them begin around WWII or even earlier) and devotes about 10-15 minutes of time to the early years and development of their bikes and then progresses through some of the company's most influential bikes focusing on the factories that build them today, how they build and test their bikes, their racing heritage, and the technology of the bikes themselves.

Great program! I highly recommend it.

I saw some of the Kawasaki one. The quality control in the factory amazes me. Look forward to seeing the other episodes.

Yeah, I just watched the one on Suzuki tonight (since I own a Suzuki motorcycle) and was amazed that quite a bit of the manufacture of Suzuki motorcycles is done by hand. The only thing they use robots for is the welding of the cast aluminum frame pieces. They focused on the GSXR though, I was kind of hoping they'd get into the Hayabusa but I can understand the time constraints.

I liked the Ducati episode too. Hopefully there is one on Triumph coming soon.

I saw the Agusta F5 show - unbelievable amount of work (man hours) which went into designing it.
