Can anyone have any hint of doubt about Fox New's agenda when they are describing band members and characters in a music video as "heathen" and "blasphemers"? Seriously, this is the sort of thing I'd expect to hear on christian talk radio.

Doesn't really matter who owned who to me, but this clip makes Fox News' bias immediately obvious.

Oh, please. He is saying WHY there is such a big deal being made about the video. Well, it's because religious people think it's blasphemous (sp). So what's the problem in that? What would YOU do differently to describe the controversy?

Funny how people will just selectively hear and believe what they want just to be able to continue being pissed at a stupid news station. Kinda sad.

Uhhh...O'Reilly didn't get owned at all.

He never does. It's just haters wishing.

Him and Hannity never will be owned by someone else. But if they ever do, it will be something they bring onto themselves for being such @ssholes.

EXACTLY what I was trying to get at. If he had just been foward and said "I think relgion is a sham" or whatever he feels I wouldn't think he was such a tool. He defends the video saying that it's not Jesus, but then changes the point when asked who it is. "Oh, it's Jesus if he had made the wrong choices!"

The best part is when he says "It isn't art if I have to explain it" or something along those lines. IT ISN'T ART IF NOBODY BUT YOU GETS IT. Playing that card is like playing the race card in the world of art.

I also thought Art provided some good answers, despite sounding like a 14 year old at times. The bottom line is that it is just a music video, and the artist can make any reference or statement that he/she wishes. Who cares? Even O'Reilly seemed pretty bored with the subject.

This was my take on it as well. Really wasn't that impressive of a segment, and it actually seemed like a more civil O'Reilly than he used to be given the subject matter at hand.

What am I 'selectively' not hearing? The part where he says 'jesus the diety'? The part where he says he wouldn't want to be misinterpreted as a 'blasphemer'? You might be able to argue that those views are O'reilly's and not the views of Fox News in general, but he's certainly not being unbiased. And he's on Fox News' payroll, so I'd have to think that he's getting paid to push the viewpoint that Fox News wants to push.

And as far as this not being a news show, and comparing it to The Daily Show - you know what it constantly says at the bottom of the screen during The Daily Show? It says "Comedy Central". Did you notice what it says at the bottom of the screen during this clip? It says "Fox News". Fox is doing a great job of misrepresenting the show as news if that's not what it's intended to be.

What does it even matter if it's a news show or not, anyway? It shows the same bias whether you call it a news show or a talk show or any other type of show.

If you think O'Reilly got owned, you are a moron.

This guy is a barely literate musician who knowingly created a grossly offensive video and is trying to play it off like its "art" and that it is not Jesus and that it's a "break-up song" Seriously, he is a media whore trying to get attention and sell records and should be kissing O'Reilly's arse for giving him more than 1/2 second of air time.

So CNN promotes communing with dead people via spirit-talkers? Because every time I flip past Larry King Live, that's who he's got on. Notice the Cable News Network on their screen.

How about Olbermann? I know MSNBC is about as much of a news network as Nickalodeon, but they claim to be as well.

Fact of the matter is, if you can't tell the difference between a news magazine opinion show and reporting on the news headlines of the day, you might need to step down your television watching to something closer to your level. Say, Cartoon Network?

Bingo. You hit the nail on the head. Sadly, too many elitists think people who watch Fox News must be dumb.

there are news shows, and commentary and talk shows. If you can't notice the difference between the the formats, you have issues.
