The face mask was still during the period of play (OT), as such it is not enforced because it is the end of the period.
The unsportsman conduct occured between periods and is enforced on the next period.
My heart goes out to the Cats. They've had a really good season and SO many games against top notch teams decided by just a few points. The Cats had so many opportunities to win that game, just like Georgia and Florida. I'm exhausted after watching that game and my hands are killing me from clapping so hard.
