Anyone watch "Profiles" on ABC? Its about diffrent soldiers and their jobs in Afganistan, pretty good documentry kinda stuff. Im really more appreciative of our armed forces after watching this 😀
 
ah geez...missed it...i watched it last week. i think it's relatively informative, but there isn't as much real live action combat as i hoped.

I don't think they should show any live action combat. Could you imagine if you were watching a family member and something happened?
 
Saw it for the first time. Thought it was pretty good.

Did you see how motivated that SFC was about runnin' her chow hall? It's crazy how motivated Food Services folks can be. Knew plenty of cooks in the Marine Corps who thought that was the greatest job ever. That for producing something that folks are gonna' complain about, no matter what.

That piece about the folks who seemingly go from town to town confiscating weapons is a pretty good picture of the incredible responsibilities some of those folks have. That's the kind of thing that you do and you can't help but think that a lot of folks in the U.S. will never hold a position with that kind of responsibility. It's the kind of thing that your friends back home just don't get to do.

Yeah i really admire the enthusiasm the Head cook lady had 🙂 And i just loved how those bad guys just lie lie lie about not having weapons, then all of a sudden they open the door then theres hella weapons there 😀

I watched it.. I get teared up when I think about the sacrifice those men and women make to keep us all safe... even moonbeam

I just get so confused "Why does the world have to be so evil?"
