Well, the guy this week was a definitely bastard/horn dog.

Anyways, anyone else think this show is fake?
I think everything is staged, and all the people are actors.

It just so happens that every family there has a nice big house, with a pool in the backyard.
Their children look like models, and so do the contenders.

so you're telling me that if they decided to put up a family that lived in the projects with a daughter/son that looked like frankenstein you would still watch? pssh...it's entertainment. dont get worked up over it.

i'm sure NBC screens out the crappy ones because they are in it for the ratings

i'm sure they can afford to do it like 10 times for every one they actually show because it is a hell of a lot cheaper than paying for an episode of ER or something

like the Jamie Kennedy show

they will do a prank 3 times and they show the best one out of the 3

I do think it's fishy that all the families have nice homes in LA with pools, especially considering the career's that some of the fathers had. One guy was a repo man, yet he had a huge ranch, nice house and pool. One guy was a hs football coach. Same thing.. I think one guy was a Marine Drill Sgt.

i would personally rather watch some family from the hood, i think it'd be MUCH better television than than cookie cutter white males who live in mansions

I commented to my gf tonite that I thought the house wasn't really their house. Funny.
I don't think it's staged....I mean obviously most of the events like the "packages" that show up and the ex-boyfriends that drop by, etc are pre-planned. The confessions from the "best friends" may be fake, and I'm sure they tell the people to pack on the sex whenever they get the chance, and they naturally do some clever survivor-style editing to build suspense and all that.
But I don't think the outcome or the people's actions are scripted.
As for everyone looking like a model, you'd be surprised what we can do with good makeup artists and digital editing these days.

the grrls on tonite episode look ok.
1. Jamie: Nice Rack {hooters}
2. Carrie {Legally Blonde} gold digger
3. Lisa {cute}

it seems that all the families in meet my folks are from the upper class with 1 million $$ houses.

One of the guys on a previous show has been one like 2 other dating shows...blind date and elimindate I believe.
I've seen some other people on multiple dating shows. Are they really running out of people to use on these dating shows?

I especially like how each home has 3 fax machines (they could've been given to them by the show), but also how each fax is convenient routed to the right room.

And when the delivery guy comes, how he tries to simulate a real delivery man by asking for a signature.
I mean, c'mon... we know you work for the show :p

I watched it for the first time. LMAO. I thought it was great. Except for the friend's confession's, I don't think it's fake. Shitloads of people from LA look like that. And I thought the parents were very sweet.

One thing I did notice is that is sure seemed that Jamie's boobs were shrinking exponentially throughout the show. By the time she won the Hawaii trip, they were the size of Lisa's.

I think Lisa was the only one that didn't look whorish. That blonde retard will be Anna Nicole in ~10 years.

If this show isn't fake, how are they going to surprise the next group of people with the polygraph test now that everyone's seen it or heard about it? Are they going to fake being surprised that they are going to be given a lie detector test, girlfriends or boyfriends showing up or that the show is going to deliver video tapes with their friends dishing dirt? How about that trick where the guests are supposed to do that goofy and rude stuff at the dinner table without letting onto the parents that they have to do this over dinner?

thats such a manufactured show that has a shelf life of 1- 2 months then the novelty is gone,
no quality, just outrageos situations that reward desperate peopel for attention

fear factor (eat pig rectum) nuff said
big brother (isolate people, and bore them and the veiwers out of there mind becasue they have nothign to do)
meet my folks (set up a hot chick, with 3 horny guys and reveal juicy tidbits of there lives and follow it up with a "suprise lie detector")
The Chamber (lock peopel up in a chamber and make them answer trivia quesions in extreme heat or cold) this is a classic

The guy was just a dude after a girl with a nice rack. They're probably not seeing each other anymore already. At first I liked Lisa the best cause she wasn't such a slut, but then you heard all the bad sh!t she did and how she doesn't give any nookie...then you realize all the girls would never work out. So in conclusion I don't blame him for going after the biggest rack.

I watched it. After watching it, I've officially determined that civilization is coming to an end :( I've HAD it with reality shows. I'm ready to go back to mindless sitcoms from the 80's! COME BACK "FACTS OF LIFE"!!!!!
